Exploration mech on an alien world.

A large mechanical exploration mech used for surveying areas in more detail than flyers can. Here it has stopped momentarily to let three astronauts disembark and study a broken off piece of alien flora. The large grey tower atop the mech's back contains living areas and comprehensive laboratories for studying and cataloging interesting finds. This particular explorer is equipped with an additional arm on the left side of the tower so it can reach areas the astronauts can't get to. these mechs are highly modular and can be equipped with anything from radar dishes, observatories to missile launchers and automatic drone factories. Although the few times such mechs have seen combat they're fared badly thanks to its high silhouette.
